ASSEMBLY

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Note: The batteries weigh 24 to 39 pounds each (depending on type). Please ask for help if you do not feel capable of safely lifting that much weight.

1.Place the batteries in the battery box. Be certain to position the terminals on each battery toward the front of the unit as shown in Figure 7. Secure the batteries in place using the hook and loop straps.

2.Use the screws, washers, and nuts provided to connect the positive (red) connector of each cable to the positive (+) terminal of each battery. See figure 8.

3.Use the screws, washers, and nuts provided to connect the negative (black) connector of each cable to the negative (-) terminal of each battery.

4.Connect the connectors of each battery cable to the corresponding connector on the main wire harness. See figure 9.

5.Cover the battery terminals with the protective caps provided. See figure 9.
