Please read this instruction manual carefully and familiarise yourself with your new kitchen scale before using it the first time. Please retain this manual for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
In order to prevent interference; do not use the device near equipment with strong electrical field. Keep the device at a sufficient distance from such equipment or turn them off when using.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
INSERTING BATTERIES
-Open the battery compartment on the back of the device.
-Insert the 4 batteries (1.5V) as indicated.
-Close the battery compartment again.
USE
-Place on a hard plane and surface. Do not place on towel or cloth.
-Place a bowl on the scale and press the ON/OFF button.
-Press "TARE" to reset the scale. The bowl must weigh no more than 650 g.
-Now the bowl can be removed and will not be weighed together with the ingredients.
The scales will switch off automatically if they have not been activated for around 90 seconds.
Under the scale there is a button for choosing the units.
Those "g" for gram and "oz" for ounces.
OVERLOAD
If the load exceeds aprox. 2.2 kg, "EE" will be shown in the display.

Do not overload the scale. Do not shock the scale with sudden loading or striking.
Keep the scale in a warm and dry place.
REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY
It will display "LO" when the power is low. Please open the battery compartment and replace the batteries as described above.
CLEANING
-Clean the appliance with a dry soft cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner or other harsh chemicals to clean the device
-The Bowl can be cleaned under running water
-Never immerse the appliance into water and other liquids!
