Installing the Informer-Mate™System on a Bed

WARNING

Keep the sensor pad flat at all times. Folding the pad may damage it. Do not use the pad if it has been folded.

Check for proper operation of the Informer-Mate™system with each mattress type used.

Above the mattress set-up

1.Place the bed sensor pad across the width of the bed and under any sheets, overlays or incontinence pads (Figure 4). Placement should be under the patient or resident's buttocks area.

2.Using the band and clip package provided with the sensor pad, fasten the sensor pad to the mattress (Figure 5). Make sure the sensor pad is fastened securely and lies flat against the mattress.
