Thermometer Care and Cleaning

Be careful not to expose the ear thermometer to extreme temperatures, excessive humidity or direct sunlight. When not in use, store the thermometer in the storage container for protection. Also, please avoid sudden shock or accidental dropping of the device.

The ear probe is a very sensitive component of the thermometer and should be carefully cleaned after each use. (Avoid touching the probe tip with your finger.) The ear probe has a waterproof design that allows for easy cleaning. Gently clean the device with a soft cloth or cotton swab that has been moistened with alcohol. Carefully dry the probe tip with a soft cloth before storage.

The thermometer body can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. Never use an abrasive cleanser or submerge the device in water or other liquids.
