Replacing the Batteries

You will still be able to test with low batteries, but you should replace them as soon as possible.

When

The OneTouch® Basic® Meter comes with batteries already installed. When the batteries need to be replaced, use two AAA, 1.5-volt alkaline batteries.

The batteries should last about

18 months when testing up to two (2) times a day. When the battery symbol appears on the meter display, the batteries are getting low.
