Alante DX/LT Owner’s Manual

IV. ASSEMBLY

Before operating or assembling your Alante DX/LT, be sure to remove the battery contact insulator under the battery box. Your Alante DX/LT will not power up or operate with the insulator in place.

1. Grasp the battery box handle and lift the battery pack from the unit.

2.Remove the rectangular black fabric insulator from the unit.

3.Replace the battery pack. Be sure it is securely in place.

Note: The Alante DX battery pack weighs 30 pounds, and the Alante LT battery pack weighs 27 pounds. The seat for either unit weighs 36 pounds. Please ask for help if you do not feel capable of safely lifting that much weight.

Seat Installation

1. Fold the seat back down.
