Setting The Dial Mode

Depending on your dialing system, set the mode as follows:

To use Caller ID/ Caller ID on Call Waiting features, you must subscribe to both Caller

Making a Call with Caller ID Data

1 Press CID , then press

to display the number you want to dial.

Raise the antenna to vertical position.

NOTE: Plug the AC adaptor firmly into the base unit and the AC 120V outlet.

Remove the battery cover by sliding it down.

Plug the battery pack cord into its socket, observing

 

 

 

the correct polarity.

Press and hold

FLASH until you hear a confirmation tone.

To set the dial mode for pulse dialing, press # / PULSE . Or to set the dial

 

mode for tone dialing press TONE/

Note: For long distance calls, you need a prefix “1” and the area code. Press L.D./1 and LOCAL/3 to add or cancel “1” and the area code before pressing TALK .

Storing Caller ID Data to Speed-Dial Memory

to display the number you want to store into

 

Speed-dial memory.

or enter a memory location number.

SELECT . A confirmation beep sounds and the Caller ID data is stored.

CID to return to standby mode.

Deleting Caller ID Data

delete from the memory.

to select Yes or No.

Place the battery pack . Then close the battery

Place the handset on the base unit. You can place

 

the handset with the dialpad facing up or down.

1 Before answering a call, check to see that the caller’s name and telephone number
