MUSIC ON-HOLD BUTTON
To put your party on hold position, press the HOLD button. A
RELEASING HOLD
Lift the receiver or press the SPEAKER button and speak to the holding party.
PAUSE BUTTON
In some cases, such as PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) or for some long distance services, a pause should be part of the dialing sequence. The unit provides a stackable pause function (3.6 sec/pause).
MUTE BUTTON
To temporarily prevent the party on the line from hearing a private conversation you may be holding with someone else, press the mute button and deep it depressed. Release the button to resume your phone conversation.

When in an office equipped with PABX, your unit makes it easy to transfer calls.
•Ask calling party to wait.
•Press and release the FLASH button.
•Dial the number of the party you wish to transfer to.
•When the party answers, announce the call and hang up. If you receive a busy signal or no answer:

RINGER VOLUME CONTROL
Move the volume switch of handset: “HI” = High volume “LO” = Low volume
OFF – There will be no sound to indicate an incoming call, but there will be a flashing light to signal you.
