SET LCD CONTRAST					LCD Contrast

LCD contrast					Use the Arrow buttons to scroll from Lo to Hi. Select

Back		Save			the desired setting and then press the (soft key) Save.
					This will save the setting and return to the Main
	MENU				Menu Screen.

Auto Talk	Select Initial setup on the main menu.
Answer Setup	Select Initial setup on the main menu.

	English				language on the menu. Choices include English, French
	Francais				or Spanish. Make selection, and press the (soft key) Save.
	Español
					Press the MENU button to return to the main screen.

Handset Phonebook/Memory Storage

The C4230 will hold up to 40 names in the phonebook. The maximum characters for the name entry are 10. Up to 24 digits can be entered for the phone number.

Error tones and timeouts

If more than 10 characters for the name or 24 digits for the phone number are entered an error tone will sound and the character or number will not be accepted.

To enter a pause, dial the number, and press the pound

#button twice or press the RD/P Button.This will enter a two (2) second pause.
