I4. Dial the number you wish to store. S The number is not transmitted while
Hyou are programming it.You can program a pause into the dialing sequence, if necessary. Since there is not a separate pause button on the phone, the redial button serves this purpose during programming. Remember, you can store up to 15 digits and the pause function counts as 1 of those digits.
Note: Programming in the pause function will cause the phone to wait 3 seconds before dialing any more numbers. For example: Pressing a memory button that has
5. Press the “PROGRAM” button again, and then the appropriate Emergency Button.
6.Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the other two Emergency Buttons.
7.Place handset back into cradle.
To Dial Programmed
Emergency Number:
1.Pick up the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2.Press the appropriate Emergency Button.
3.The number will be dialed automatically.
Important:The emergency buttons are not preprogrammed for 911.You must do this yourself. Use a preprinted 911 label and paste it over the button you program for 911. Use other write on labels to identify any numbers you wish to program into the two remaining emergency buttons.
