There is a display on the answering machine and the following table describes what they mean.

FU Memory is full. No new messages can be recorded.

On The answering machine is on.

OF The answering machine is off.

Getting started

This answering machine is ready to use within a few seconds from power up.

This answering machine contains a 7-segment LCD for displaying notification and confirmation messages.

Turning the answering machine on/off

NOTE: Turning the answering machine on/off does not affect the functionality of normal phone operations, such as making outgoing calls or receiving incoming calls.
