CHARGING THE

BATTERY

Before you use your phone for the first time or when you install a new battery, make sure RINGER ON/OFF on the handset is set to OFF, then charge the battery for about 12-15 hours by plac- ing the handset on the cradle so the POWER and CHARGE indicators on the base light.

The phone charges whenever the handset is on the base. You can re- charge the battery at any time, but be sure to recharge it when BATT LOW lights on the handset.

Notes:

Continuing to use the battery after BATT LOW lights could shorten overall battery life.
