The battery in the handset must be fully charged for 12 hours before using the telephone for the first time.

To Install a New Battery

Battery Installation

The Clarity 435 uses a 3.6Volt 600mAh NiMH rechargeable 3 cell battery (AAA) that is included with your unit.

HANDSET BATTERY MUST BE CONNECTED BEFORE BEGINNING INITIAL CHARGING.

To Connect Battery:

1.Remove battery cover

2.Install new battery

3.Connect battery pack

4.Replace battery cover

5.Charge for 12 hours before first use

Remove battery compartment cover and connect battery pack plug into the battery connector as shown in Diagram A.
