Empty (charging required)

Your handset may power down if it is not charged after the battery is empty. If you are on the phone while the battery is nearly empty, you will hear warning tones. Your call maybe cut off shortly after the warning.

To connect the base unit, follow these steps:

1.Connect one end of the power adapter to the base unit, and the other to a standard wall outlet.

2.You can connect the Ethernet cable, the telephone line cord, or both.

For Internet calling, use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the base unit to your gateway, router, or modem (ADSL or cable).

For landline calling, connect the telephone line cord to the base unit and the wall phone socket.
