This digital handheld cellular telephone is designed for use on a GSM network (Global System for Mobile Service).

The most essential operations, such as turning the phone on and off, making and answering calls, and storing and recalling phone numbers, are described in the Basic Guide.

This User’s Manual deals with the more ad- vanced functions of the phone, such as using the phone’s menus, handling two calls simul-

taneously, and receiving and sending text messages.

The phone is prepared for use with a Mobile Office kit which works as an interface between the phone and a personal computer or laptop. This lets you receive and send e-mail and fax messages and use data communication. Accessing the special menus needed is ex- plained in the manual supplied with the Mobile Office kit.
