Using the Key Lock Feature

During standby mode, press and hold the # key to lock the keypad. A tone will play and you will see Unlock at the bottom left of the screen. Then you can only answer an incoming call or unlock the keypad. To unlock the keypad:

1.Press Unlock.

2.Press the * key. You will hear a tone and the phone will be unlocked.

Paging a Handset

If you have misplaced a handset, press and release the page button on the base station. All handsets that are in standby mode and connected to that base station will play a paging melody.

If an outside call comes in, the handsets will stop paging and play the external call ring tone.

There are two ways to stop the paging melody. If you have multiple handsets, press and release the page button on the base station. To stop the paging melody for an individual handset, select Stop on that handset, and it will stop paging. The other handsets will keep playing the paging melody.

If nothing is pressed, then the paging melody will automatically stop after 30 seconds.
