To end a call

Press the TALK button.

Or

Place the handset back on the base.

To receive a call

When the phone rings the display will show CALL and the EXT symbol will flash.

If you have subscribed to a Caller Display Service, the number (and name if stored in the phonebook) will be displayed.

Press the TALK button.

Or

If the handset is on the base, simply lift it up and speak.

Note

You can switch the Auto-Talk feature on or off. Please see page 22.

To adjust the speech volume during a call

During a call:

You can adjust the earpiece volume. There are 5 levels to choose from.

	Redial	Press the UP or DOWN
	Vol	button until you reach the
	Calls	button until you reach the
		required level. This will be
		shown on the display.
		eg: EAR VOL 3.
	Menu	In standby mode:
	Menu
		Press the button.
	Vol	Press the DOWN button until
	Calls	HANDSET is displayed.
	Menu	HANDSET is displayed.
	Menu
		Press the button.
	Vol	Press the DOWN button until
	Calls	Press the DOWN button until
	Calls	EAR VOL is displayed.
		EAR VOL is displayed.
	Menu	Press the button.
		Press the button.
	Redial	Press the UP or DOWN
	Vol	button until you reach the
	Calls	button until you reach the
	Calls	required level.
	Menu	required level.
	Menu
		Press the button to confirm
		the selected level.
	Secrecy	Press and hold the ✘ button to

		return to the standby screen.
