6.6Set the LCD Contrast

1.Press Pand ,to select SETUP HS.

2.Press Pand ,to select LCD CONTRAST.

3.Press Pand ,to increase or decrease the contrast level. (Five levels are available)

4.Press Pto save.

6.7Auto Talk On/Off

With auto talk is turned on, you can answer a call just by lifting the handset off the base or charger. If turned off, you will have to press <or Jto answer a call. The default setting is Off.

1.Press Pand ,to select SETUP HS.

2.Press Pand ,to select AUTO TALK.

3.Press Pand ,to turn on/off auto talk.

4.Press Pto save.

6.8Registration

Up to 5 handsets can be registered to one base. The original handset is pre-registered to use. Additional handsets must be registered to the base before you can use them.

To register an additional handset,

1.Press Pand ,to select SETUP HS.

2.Press Pand ,to select REGISTRATION.

3.Press Pand ,to select YES or NO.

4.Select YES and press Pto enter the registration procedure as below:

1.Place the unregistered cordless handset on the charger.

2.Press and hold vfor 4 seconds on base.

3.Release vonce IN USE LED is flashing.

4.A confirmation tone is generated if registration is successful. HANDSET X is displayed where X denotes the number of handsets and the phone goes back to idle.
