4.Use the number keys to enter the PABX number.

5.Press OK.

Area Code

(On North American models only)

If you do not have to dial the area code for numbers within your area code, use this setting. With this setting, the handset ignores your area code on incoming calls so that when you save the number to your phonebook it is saved with only the 7 digits that you need to dial.

If you have to dial the area code to make outgoing calls within your area code, do not use this setting.

1.Press MENU.

2.Select ADVANCED SET and press OK.

3.Select AREA CODE and press OK.

The current area code (if available) is displayed.

4.Enter or edit the number.

5.Press OK.

Baby Call

You can set the phone to dial a specified number when any key is pressed (except the OFF key), making it easy for someone with limited dialling ability to reach help. When BABY CALL is on, the phone acts as an emergency calling device and regular calling functions are not available.

Set the BABY CALL Number

1.Press MENU.

2.Select ADVANCED SET and press OK.

3.Select BABY CALL and press OK.

4.Use the number keys to enter the BABY CALL number.

5.Press OK.

The phone displays BABY CALL.

Turn BABY CALL Off

1.Press OFF.

2.Select OFF and press OK.
