Calling experience
When you use your phone on other CDMA networks, your calling experience and call quality will be similar to what you experience when making calls from within the digital Sprint PCS Nationwide Network. Although certain calling features may not be available, your phone calls are still private and secure.
When you use your phone on analog cellular networks, your experience will be different. Analog cellular roaming will be similar to the quality provided by conventional analog cellular carriers today. Although you will still have the convenience of being able to make and receive calls, here are some differences you can expect:
You are more likely to experience static,
Some calling features such as Caller ID and the message waiting indicator that are standard within the
Sprint PCS Nationwide Network may be unavailable.
You will experience the same security and privacy risks (eavesdropping and phone number cloning) that exist with conventional analog cellular services today.
Battery life will be shorter when you use your phone for analog cellular roaming than when you use it on a CDMA network.
