Getting Started

Locking or Unlocking the Keypad

You can lock the keypad to avoid pressing keys by mistake.

To lock the keypad manually, press and hold key in Idle Mode until “Keypad locked” appears on the display.

To lock the keypad automatically, use the Auto key lock option (Menu 4.3). See page 96.

In the Key Lock Mode, you can dial emergency calls and answer incoming call using keypad. When you end the call, your phone returns to the Key Lock Mode after given period time.

To exit the Key Lock Mode, press the Unlock soft key and then press the key. “Keypad unlocked” appears.
