Organiser

The Organiser feature enables you to:

view the calendar and/or write a memo or to do list.

set the current date and time, and find out what time it is in various cities around the world.

set the alarm so that the phone rings at a specific time.

use your phone as a calculator, unit convertor, timer or stopwatch.

New Memo (Menu 5.1)

This menu option allows you to create a new memo.

Note: You can also access this menu by holding down the C key in Idle Mode.

1.Write your memo of up to 100 characters and press the Ok soft key.

For further information about how to enter text, see page 38.

2.Select the category of the memo to be saved and press the Select soft key.

The following categories are available:

Scheduler: general schedule events, such as appointments or meetings.

To do list: tasks you need to do. They are saved on the to do list.

Organiser

Call: calls you need to make.

Anniversary: anniversaries to be remembered, such as wedding anniversaries, birthdays or other special days.

Note: You can save up to 25 items to each category, so you can save 100 memos totally.

3.Scroll to a date on the calendar by pressing the navigation keys. Press the Select soft key.

4.If applicable depending on the category you selected, enter the event time and press the Ok soft key.

5.If you have selected the 12-hour time format (see page 111), select AM or PM by pressing the Up or Down key and then press the Select soft key.

6.To set an alarm for the memo, press the Yes soft key.

Otherwise, press the No soft key. The memo is saved immediately. Go to Step 10.

7.Enter the time for the alarm to sound and press the Ok soft key.

8.If you have selected the 12-hour time format (see page 111), select AM or PM by pressing the Up or Down key and then press the Select soft key.

9.Select an alarm melody and press the Select soft key.

The memo is saved and then displays on the screen.
