Screen icons

The handset speakerphone is in use.

Microphone is muted.

Ringer off.

Battery charging (animated display).

Low battery (flashing); place handset in telephone base or charger to recharge.

Missed and un-reviewed calls.

Handset alert tones

Two short beeps

The volume level is at the maximum or minimum setting.

Double beep every

Low battery warning.

five seconds

 

Five beeps

Out of range or other handset on when on the line.

Confirmation tone

Command completed successfully.

Indicator lights

VOICEMAIL

Flashes when there is new voicemail (requires voicemail service from your local telephone company).

CHARGE/IN USE

On when the cordless handset is properly positioned to charge in the telephone base.

Flashes quickly while an incoming call is ringing.

On when one of the handsets is in use.

CHARGE

On when handset is in the charger and charging.
