Maintenance

Treated properly, your telephone will require no maintenance other than periodic cleaning. To clean, wipe the housing with a soft, dust-free cloth. If absolutely necessary, clean it with a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Dry quickly with a soft cloth.

To prevent damaging the phone, avoid dropping the base and the handset. Always place the handset on the base gently. To reduce the risk of injury, fire, or electric shock, always follow the basic safety precautions listed at the beginning of this booklet.

CAUTION:

Your telephone contains sensitive electronic parts. Never expose it to or submerge it in any kind of liquid, and never use detergents, alcohols, solvents, abrasive cleaners, or an excess amount of water when cleaning the housing and faceplate. To do so could damage the phone.
