Caller ID operation

To review the call log

To review the call log

Press CID/-VOLUMEto review the call log. The call log displays the caller ID entries in reverse chron- ological order. The most recent call is displayed first. Press CID/-VOLUMEor DIR /VOLUME+ to scroll through the list as shown at left. Press OFF/CLEAR to return to the idle screen.

NOTE: You can also display the caller ID entries in the call log, when handset is idle, press MENU/SELECT, then CID/-VOLUMEto choose CALL LOG, and then press MENU/SELECT.

To return a call

Press PHONE/FLASH or SPEAKER to call the displayed number.

Caller ID numbers may appear with an area code that may not be required for local calls, or without a 1 that may be needed for long distance calls. If the number displayed is not in the correct format, you can change how it is dialed.

To change the number before dialing, press # repeat- edly to see different dialing options (you can choose to dial with or without an area code, and with or without the 1), then press PHONE/FLASH or SPEAKER to dial the number.

Other options while reviewing the call log

Press MUTE/DELETE to delete the current entry from the call log.

Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to delete all entries from the call log. When asked to confirm, press MENU/SELECT to delete all entries, or press OFF/CLEAR to exit without deleting any entries.

Press MENU/SELECT to copy this entry into the directory. If the name or number is not provided, you will be prompted to enter them (page 27).

Press and hold OFF/CLEAR to return to the idle screen.

NOTE: If neither the name nor number are not provided, UNABLE TO SAVE will be displayed.
