To change the PIN

The PIN is a 4-digit password. It protects the handset & base from misuse. The default PIN is 0000.

Press the Program key.

Press 1 and then enter the default/existing 4-digit PIN code.

Press the Program key.

Enter the new 4-digit PIN.

Press the Program key.

Enter again the new 4-digit PIN.

Press the Program key to save PIN code.

Warning: For all settings where you must enter the PIN code, if the PIN code you entered is wrong, a long beep is emitted and the phone returns to idle mode. You have to restart the setting and enter the correct PIN.

To restore to default settings

This procedure allows to reset the phone to default settings.

Press the Program key.

Press 9 and then enter your 4-digit PIN code.

Press the Program key to save the setting.
