linking your pda to your phone

Linking your PDA to your GPRS mobile phone is easy, but first you will need to activate your mobile’s Infrared or Bluetooth port. To make an infrared connection, it is essential that the ports of your PDA and mobile phone are accurately aligned.

Note: We have included information on the phone models recommended for use with Mobile Web. This information is accurate at the time of printing, but you should refer to www.o2.co.uk/mobileweb for the latest information on recommended phones.

Activating your phone’s infrared port

Infrared ports can use a significant amount of battery power. If the infrared port on your mobile does not de-activate automatically (see your mobile’s user guide), we recommend switching the port off, once you have finished using the Mobile Web service.
