accessing mobile web while abroad

Mobile Web users can access the Internet from anywhere in the world where there is a GSM network*, via our Mobile Web GSM service. This facility is set up during the getting started process, using the Mobile Web Getting Started CD.

This GSM service has been specially optimised for Mobile Web and is available to customers on any O2 Mobile Web tariff.

Standard international rates apply for calls made from other countries. All connections using GSM attract a per minute charge. Standard minimum charges apply. Please visit www.o2.co.uk/mobileweb for details of call charges.

If you visit or call several countries frequently, our International traveller service offers reduced call charges for international calls made from the UK, and calls made to and received from the UK while abroad (including Mobile Web access via GSM).

*O2 are currently working towards links with overseas networks to support an international Mobile Web GPRS service.
