Follow these steps to connect the AC adapter.

1.Plug the AC adapter’s barrel plug into the module’s 9VDC jack.

2.Plug the AC adapter into a standard AC outlet.

INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY

The module uses a 9-volt battery to protect its memory if the power fails. We recommend you use an alkaline battery (such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-553).
