4.Before the display dims, slide the fresh battery into the compart- ment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside.

5.Replace the battery compartment cover and turn the screw on the bottom of the module to LOCK to secure it. Then reconnect the phone lines and the AC adapter, if necessary.
