INSTALLING BATTERIES/ SETUP

You need six AAA batteries (not supplied) to power the CID. For the longest opera- tion and best performance, we recom- mend alkaline batteries, available at your local RadioShack store.

Cautions:

•Always use fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.

•Do not mix old and new batteries, dif- ferent types of batteries (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.

Follow these steps to install batteries.

1.Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the battery compartment screw on the bottom of the CID and slide off the cover.
