1.Unplug the system from the telephone line.

2.Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw in the bat- tery compartment cover on the bottom of the system, and remove the cover.

3.Insert fresh batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside the com- partment.

4.Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

Notes:

The system automatically tests the batteries when it receives each new call.

• When appears on the display or the display dims, replace the batteries.
