How to Recordan OutgoingMessage(OGM)

Beforeoperatingyourunit,you mustrecordan OutgoingMessage(OGM). The OGM will informthe callingpartyof yourabsenceand your message.

RECORDINGTHEOGM

/PushOGM REC untila longbeepis heard.then releaseit.

2 Afterthe longbeep,speakclearlyand loudlyintothe microphone(MlC), approximately8 inchesaway.

oThe lN USE indicatorwillflash. oThe recordingtimeis up to the tape

lengththatyou use.

Whenrecordingis finished,pushOGM

RECagain.

oThe unitwill rewindthe taoeto the beginning,and be readyfor Incoming Calls.

NOTE:

lf you pause for over 2 seconds while recording, you will hear a seriesof warning tones (6 beeps) and the unit will start rewindingthe tape. lf this happens, start with step 1 again after the unit stopsrewinding.

How to Record an Outgoing Message (OGM)

CHECKINGYOUROGM

You can checkyour OGM at any time

1 PushOGM PLAY.

oThe unitwill playbackthe OGM,then rewindthe tapeto the beginning.

oUse the VOLUMEcontrolon the leftside of yourunitto regulatethe volume

vfifu,duringplaybackif necessary.

.To stop the operationwhile playingback the OGM,pushthe OGM PLAY button.

NOTES:

oThe unitwillautomaticallychangeto the Answermode7 secondsaftercompleting the OGM recordingor checking.

oAnswer mode:

Whena call is received,the unitwill automaticallyanswerand recordIncoming Messageson the ICMtape.
