Making calls
1Lift the handset and dial the phone number.
2When you finish talking, place the handset on the cradle.
Adjusting the handset volume
Press {4} or {3} repeatedly while talking.
≥“ ” shows one level.
Making a call using the redial list
The last 20 phone numbers dialled are stored in the redial list.
1{REDIAL}
2{4} / {3}: Select the desired phone number.
≥You can also scroll through the list by pressing {REDIAL}.
≥To exit the list, press {EXIT}.
3Lift the handset to start calling.
Erasing a number in the redial list
1{REDIAL}
2{4} / {3}: Select the desired phone number.
3{CLEAR}
≥If “NO ITEMS STORED” is displayed, the list is empty.
4{EXIT}
Pause (for PBX/long distance service users)
A pause is sometimes required when making calls using a PBX or long distance service. When storing a calling card access number and/or PIN in the phonebook, a pause is also needed (page 20).
Example: If you need to dial the line access number “9” when making outside calls with a PBX:
1{9} > {PAUSE}
2Dial the phone number.
3Lift the handset to start calling.
Note:
≥A 3.5 second pause is inserted each time {PAUSE} is pressed. Repeat as needed to create longer pauses.
