Locking a Channel While Scanning

If the scanner keeps stopping on a particular channel due to noise or too-frequent transmissions, you may want to keep that channel from scanning.

1. Wait until the scanner stops at the channel.

The scanner immediately resumes scanning because that channel is no longer in the

Unlocking a Channel

Note: Empty channels are automatically

locked. You cannot unlock an empty channel.

1. Enter the Manual Mode.
