Getting Started
Before you can use your radio, you must install and charge the battery and install the antenna as follows.
Charging the Battery

Attaching/Removing the Battery
To attach the battery to the radio, align the slots in the battery with the hooks on the radio as shown. Then, slide the battery toward the top of the radio until it locks into place.
To remove the battery from the radio, push the battery release 
lever toward the front of the radio and slide the battery 
toward the bottom of the radio.
