NOTE: 1. To switch between GMRS/FRS and SCANNER mode, press and hold the MOSE/SCANNER button for 2 seconds. Refer to the appropriate section of this manual for detailed operating instructions for each mode.
2.To enter the VOX mode, press and hold the VOX button for 1 second.

Press and hold the power on/off button (

) for 2 seconds. You will hear a dual beep to indicate the unit is on. Press the on/off button again for 2 seconds to turn the unit off. When the unit is on and the button is pres- sed momentarily, the scan mode is enabled or disabled; when enabled, the scan icon (SCAN) appears on the display.
