Operating range depends on a variety of factors, such as the weather, the

. construction and layout of your home, etc. Aluminum siding, foil-backed

insulation and iron roofing may limit operating range. Fluorescent lights and

some appliance~ such as microwave ovens and baby monitors are also liable to cause interference.

Plug your XC630/633 base unit into AC power outlet that is not on the same circuit as one used by radio, hi-fi, television, or computer equipment.

. Do not install the base unit close to electronic equipment such as microwaves, TVs, computers, answering machines or baby monitors.

. Always keep the antenna on the base unit fully extended and extend handset antenna when in use.

If you hear noise or interference during a call, press the CHANNEL button on the handset to select another channel. If the noise is very loud, move closer to the base before changing channels.

Reception may improve significantly if you install the base on an upper floor.
