Basic Setup

Selecting a Language

Language

Your phone supports three languages: English, French and Spanish. Once you select a

Franais

 

 

language, the menus on the phone will display in that language. The default language is

English.

 

 

 

 

) Press the MENU soft key. Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the HANDSET LANGUAGE sub- menu.

2)Move the cursor to choose ENGLISH, FRANÇAIS (French), or ESPAÑOL (Spanish).

3)Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Setting the Day & Time

To change the day and time shown in the display, follow the steps listed below.

Note: If you don’t press any keys for two minutes when setting the date and time, the

) Press the MENU soft key. Select the GLOBAL SETUP menu, and then the DAY & TIME submenu.

2)Press [] or [] to select the day of the week, and then the �� soft key.

3)Press [] or [] to select hour, and then the �� soft key.

4)Press [] or [] to select minute, and then the �� soft key.

5)Press [] or [] to To select AM or PM, then press the SAVE soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone. You can also change the day and time from the base. See page 53 for instructions.
