Using On-Hook Dialing

Users can enter telephone numbers before going off-hook (while the telephone is in standby mode).

To dial the number:

1.Enter the destination number.

2.Go off-hook with the handset or speakerphone.

3.The outgoing call is initiated.

Receiving Calls

When there is an incoming call, the Message Waiting Indication and the line LED flash. Users can answer the call using the handset or handsfree (using the speakerphone).

Answering Calls Using the Handset

To answer an incoming call:

1.Pick up the handset.

2.Begin the conversation.

Answering Calls Handsfree

To answering an incoming call:

1.Press the Speaker/Headset key or press the line key (the handset remains in the cradle).

2.Begin the conversation.

2-Line Operation

UIP300 supports 2-line operations.

Accessing Line 1

UIP300 uses Line 1 if the user picks up the handset or presses the Speaker/Headset key.
