Register the TCX440 and TCX400 expansion handset to main base

Before an expansion handset is registered, the battery pack MUST be charged for 15 hours.

To register TCX440 or TCX400 handset, simply place it in the main base.

While the handset is registering, Handset Registering will appear in the LCD. When Registration complete. is displayed, the handset has been registered to the base. If appears, please try these steps again.

To register a TCX805, TCX860, ELX500 handset, follow the steps below: 1) From the base, press menu/select and select System

Setup menu.

2) Select Register Handset , and press menu/select.

3) On the handset, press and hold # until you hear a beep.

While the handset is registering, Handset Registering will appear in the LCD. When Registration complete. is displayed, the handset has been registered to the base. If appears, please try these steps again.
