Transferring Music

If your player is in MTP mode:

Device name instead of drive letter will show on the computer.

If computer installed Windows Media Player 10, MTP device will show 2 folders – Data and Media - on top level. mp3 and WMA files could be copied only to Media folder, other types of files could be copied only to Data folder. Some players also allow user to copy picture and video files to Media folder.

To create a folder on MTP device, first create the folder with same name on local disk, then drag and drop the folder to device. (User could not create folder on MTP device directly.)

Files cannot be executed or open directly from MTP device. Please copy the file to local disk first.

Profiling (Model Dependent)

Some models need to be profiled after file transfer. Profiling helps sort audio files on your player so that you can view in the navigation menus and play them properly.

Please check the player’s user manual if this step is necessary on your player. Follow the instruction to profile your newly transferred files.
