(1)Timer recording indicator () (l 52) On:

When a timer recording programme is registered and recordable tape is inserted.

Flashes:

When the unit cannot record a timer recording programme (e.g. there is no tape, the unit is not on standby, etc.).

(2)Recording mode indicator (l 51)

SP: When recording or playing in Normal mode.

LP: When recording or playing in Long play mode.

EP: When recording or playing in Extra long play mode.

(3)Remaining tape time indicator

(4)Tape operation status

The operation status of the unit, such as playback or fast- forward, is displayed.
