Radio operation

To obtain maximum FM reception fully extend the wire FM aerial (which is located at the rear of the unit) and alter the direction of the wire for best results.

The aerial for the MW waveband is located inside the unit. To obtain maximum MW reception rotate the clock radio.

1Press the POWER / SLEEP button.

2Adjust the VOLUME control to a suitable level.

3Press the BAND button to either MW or FM as desired.

4Press UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired station. Hold UP or DOWN for about 1 second. The radio automatically tunes to the next higher or lower station with a strong signal.

5To switch off the radio, press the POWER / SLEEP button.

Notes

If no strong signal is found, press the UP or DOWN buttons to stop tuning.

Using the memory

You can store up to 20 stations in memory (MW x 10, FM x 10). Follow these steps to store a station into memory.

1Tune to the band and station you want to store.

2Hold MEM until MEMO flashes.

3Within 15 seconds, press buttons 1-5on the display for the desired memory location. You can also repeatedly press UP or DOWN buttons until the number (0-9 in each band) for the desired memory location appears.

4Press MEM again to store the station in the memory location.

Note: If you do not store the station within 15 seconds, MEMO disappears. Repeat steps 2-4.

To tune to a stored station, repeatedly press and release MEM until the numbers for the desired memory location and the station appear. For presets 1-5, you can press number key 1-5 to recall the stored station.
