Selecting settings

1Open the main menu in the current playback mode by pressing and holding »MENU«.

2Select the »Setting« menu with »8« or »9« and press »sII« to confirm.

3Press »S« or »A« to select »Record« and press »sII« to confirm.

Setting the recording quality

1In the »Record« menu, press »S« or »A« to select »Record Quality« and press »sII« to confirm.

2Select the recording quality (»Low Quality«, »Normal Quality« or »High Quality«) with »S« or »A« and press »sII« to confirm.

Note:

The lower the quality, the less memory the recording requires. At the same time, the recording time is longer.

Activating and deactivating the VAD function

When the VAD function is activated, the player automatically analyses the ambient noise level. If it is too low, the recording stops after 2 seconds.

2Select the setting (»No« or »Yes«) with »S« or »A« and press »sII« to confirm.

The AGC function amplifies and optimises the recorded voice. This makes the recording clearer and louder.

2Select the setting (»No« or »Yes«) with »S« or »A« and press »sII« to confirm.
