2 Ports, Connections, and Buttons

Refer to the Quick Start Guide for basic information

2.1 SPDIF Digital Audio

The SPDIF digital audio is a wire based protocol, it is not optical. To record or play via the SPDIF digital audio connection, you will use the cable delivered with the Jukebox which has RCA type connectors (red, white, and yellow). Thus, you should locate SPDIF RCA female type jacks on the back of your Hifi system. Place the mini-jack end of the cable in the Jukebox’s LINE-IN jack. The yellow RCA connector works as both the IN and the OUT. You will have to swap this from the SPDIF IN and OUT on your hi-fi stereo system as needed.

2.2 The Expansion Port

Remember that when you connect or disconnect one of the ARCHOS add-ons, such as the camera, a memory card reader, or cable interface, you must do so while the Jukebox is off. See the end of this manual for add-on products and descriptions.
