ERASING FILES

Warning:

You cannot recover a file once it has been erased.

Step 1 Stop any playback or recording functions before you start to erase files.

Step 2 Press the MENU button to enter the menu. Select "Erase Files" and enter.

Two options will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3 To erase music files, select "Music" and enter. To erase voice memos, select "Voice" and enter.

Step 4 You will be prompted to verify that you want to erase the listed music file or voice memo.

The file name is listed on the screen to help you decide. The selected answer is "No" by default.

If you do not want to erase the file, press the MENU button. The next file will be listed on the screen and you will be asked again if you want to erase it.

Step 5 If you are sure you want to erase the listed file, press the SKIP button to select "Yes".

Then press the MENU button to confirm.

Step 6 The file is now erased. The next file will be listed on the screen and you will be asked again if you want to erase this file.

Step 7 When you have finished erasing the file, the player will automatically exit to Erase Files screen.

Step 8 Select "Exit" and enter to exit to the menu list.
