CARE

To enjoy your Traveling Recording Picture Frame/Alarm Clock for a long time:

Keep the clock dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.

Use and store the clock only in normal temperature environments.

Handle the clock gently and carefully. Don't drop it.

Keep the clock away from dust and dirt.

Wipe the clock with a damp cloth occa- sionally to keep it looking new.

Modifying or tampering with the clock's in- ternal components can cause a malfunction and invalidate its warranty. If your clock is not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.

REPLACING THE

BATTERIES

Your alarm clock uses four type 357A but- ton-cell batteries (supplied) for power. When the recorded sound weakens, re- place the batteries. (For the best results, use button-cell batteries available from your local RadioShack store.) The recorder keeps the last message recorded in memo- ry while you change batteries.

Follow these steps to replace the batteries.

1.Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw from the battery compart- ment cover, then slide the cover off.

2.Use the tip of a pencil or other non- metallic sharp object to remove the bat- teries. Then insert four fresh batteries in the compartment with their positive

(+) side up.

3.Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

Warnings:

Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.

Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.

Cautions:

Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Always remove old or weak batter- ies. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.
