MOUNTING (CONTINUED)
7.Insert screws from the INSIDE of the cabinet. The washers must be used on metal cabinets and wood cabinets if the drilled holes were not countersunk. Position the washers, flat- side down, and insert the screws into the holes.
8.If your cabinet does not SELECT SCREWS WHICH MEET MINIMUM, BUT DO NOT
have an overhang, skip EXCEED MAXIMUM LENGTH

9. Align the unit under the |

screws. Hold the unit so its mounting screw holes (on the top of the unit) are against the mounting screws (see Figure 6) , then partially tighten the screws.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten until all 4 screws have been started. The top edge of the unit should clear the overhang.
10.Extend the cord towards the AC outlet (see page 5) and secure it by using cord hooks (not supplied) to keep the cord out of the way. For more attractive appearance, place the cord hooks at the back edge of the cabinet, directly over the AC outlet. It is recommended that the line cord be fully extended for best FM reception.
11.Connect the Remote Stand to the bottom of the unit by sliding it towards the rear of the unit.
