Individual Call
Reception of an individual DSC call sets up communication on the working channel requested by the caller. Your radio automatically transmits an ACK (Acknowledgement) message back to the calling ra- dio. If the caller's MMSI matches an entry in your directory, its location will be displayed. If no match is made, the ID ANNUNCIATOR blinks. Press 16/9 to ignore the call. To respond to the vessel, press the PTT button.
